Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super soft Super soft and snuggly. Makes a big mess when working with it, but well worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Messy to work with but the Best feel I used the purple to make a backpack for my friends little girl to put the quilt in that I made for her. now she pulls out the quilt and uses the backpack as a very soft pillow. The trick is 1st to cut it outside, then with a light hand pull all of the loose fuzz.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply beautiful! I bought this fabric to make a blanket for a bridal shower gift. It turned out beautiful. The bride said she and her now hubby use it every day. They even brought it with on the honeymoon weekend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft!! I bought 3 yards in store to make a Fat Sak chair for 11 yr old grandaughter. A fat sak is basicly a bean bag chair filled with fiberfill. Love it! Color and picture online are true. This is fur and very soft! I am showing a picture of the wrong side of fabric so anyone buying online can see it. The wrong side is a pollyester woven knit - not stretchy but has some give. I found it quite easy to work with. It is messy cutting out but once sewn I have not had any shedding -- remember it is fake fur so it is messy lol. I think it would make a great robe or jamies or nightgown or as others have said baby blanket scarves etc For this project I used... 3 yrs fabric 3 yrs thin knit for liner 10 lb box of polyfill 035352100108 A garbage bag of loft I already had -- you need more than the 10 lb box 1 3/4 yrd trim 070659534942 for pillow made from scraps 1 spool of thread 073650778308 (perfect match for aqua) Sew-in velcro I really can not describe how soft this thing is! Hope this helps!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fabric I bought this for a quilt backing. I looks like little pink roses. Plus I bought white to line my daughter's winter coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soooo soft! I bought the light pink & dark pink. I used it for the inside lining of some sweater mittens, made a few taggi blankets as gifts, & used some for a sensory playmat. Very fun and soft to work with, easier than some "furry" fabric. It is messy when cut and leaves little pieces on the work surface and floor; but a broom or vaccuum will work fine to clean it up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly soft! I bought this and other colors to make infinity scarves. I loved how soft the fabric was and so did the people that I made the scarves for. Definitely a great fabric at a great price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from so soft!!! I bought this in hot pink to make a baby blanket and it's TOO CUTE! It's really soft and washes well! You'll have to vacuum after you initially cut and sew it , it sheds

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs Backing I bought this to create a vest for my Halloween costume (in white) and I loved the color. The fur was a bit thin and if you put your hand under it, you'd be able to see it, but that can easily be fixed by putting a backing on it. I backed it with an old white t- shirt and I got lots of compliments. This would be good for comfy blankets in my opinion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very soft I bought this to make blankets - I noticed it had a lot of static when I pulled it out of the bag -I used a fabric softener sheet prior to cutting. That must have reduced the excess fur. I don't know but it worked for me better than when they cut it in the store. My daughter loves all 3 blanket, and my dog loves her's. I have not washed it yet. But due to the type of fabric low heat if not tumble dry . I used it with micro fleece and it made beautiful blankets The black and Ivory are thicker fur than the white.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not As Nice After Washing I bought some swirl fur in aqua at a physical store yesterday. It was so soft and pretty on the bolt...just loved the look of the swirls. I brought it home and washed it, as I do with all of my fabric before using it. When I took it out of the dryer, it looked like a completely different fabric! It lost all of the swirl pattern! It is still soft, but it is now thin and plain, instead of having the thick fur swirls. I'm very disappointed in that! I haven't decided if I'm still going to use it. I purchased some online from a different company a few months ago and the quality was much better, but more expensive...I'd rather pay the extra for better quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful for fuzzy baby blanket! I bought this to make a blanket for my daughter and I LOVE it. It's pretty and so soft! I was worried that it would be slippery and hard to work with but I had no trouble.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How to cut fur Bought the swirl last year and made a few ponchos. They are greatly loved, admired and look rich. In order to cut fur and avoid the fur explosion, turn the fur face down and cut only the backing then gently pull apart. This prevents cutting the fur itself and you'll have no mess!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this fabric two weeks ago to make a chair cover for a friend who needs to sleep in her chair due to illness. She raved about how soft and comfortable it is. I made a very long rectangle and added elastic bands to hold the top and bottom onto the chair. I tucked in the sides so it stayed in place. I fashioned a pocket to extend off each side of the chair by making a long wide strip that went from side to side of the chair and UNDER the seat cushion so it stayed in place. It worked so well that I am making another for a Veteran Vet with COPD who can't lie flat in bed. This is perfect when lined with either flannel or another fabric. Washes beautifully!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Black fur for cape I bought this a couple of years ago to make a cape for costuming. (I live in New Orleans, there is always an opportunity to get in costume!) I wore it for Mardi Gras last year and my friends were jealous! I have used the remnants for cat pillows (they love them). Washes nicely. I now have been wearing around the house and out on the balcony at night as a robe. About to buy some more to make another style of cape! There is shedding when it is being cut, and a bit in the dryer lint trap. I didn't dry it all the way and I used A LOT of fabric softener and too many dryer sheets (I think the fabric is better now after the washing (softer)).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from swirl fur i just made a blanket with the swirl in cream and the top i used the poodle fur and and its only 4 hours old and we are fighting over it all ready. I had a customer come and was going to duplicate the tie blanket that her daughter made her in this product 5 years ago with another blanket. I didn't have time to tie and i hate the look and didn't want to cheapen the look of this wonderful stuff so i sewed the seams and I'm in love. So now I'm making birthday gifts for the next year because my kids love it. I used 2.5 yards of each and its a bundle of heaven. I know my husband loves it better than his sander. (I can only wish).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this fabric Best material ever!! It's so easy to use! I've made several baby blankets and pillows with this fabric. It does lose quite a bit of fur as your sewing and cutting, but I have found that if I make a blanket or pillowcase first then wash it, the material remains intact and comes out just as soft.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved before a wash I loved this fabric in the store because it is unbelievably soft. It did shed at first but only on the cut edge where fur was cut from the fabric that remained on the bolt. Washed it before using to make a blanket and dried it on low. I was so disappointed when I pulled it from the dryer and found that it had little rough places, almost like some of the fur had melted together- it actually stuck to itself in several places. I assume it would be fine if I hadn't put it in the dryer but don't like to give kid gifts that can't be thrown into the washer then dryer. I had hoped it might be like Minky when it washed. At least I found out before making the blanket.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Fabric! I bought this in white to make a pillow cover. It was for a pillow in my nursery rocking chair. Well IT'S AWFUL! Its very thin and when I started cutting and sewing half of the fur fell out all over me and the table! I tried washing it on a gentle cycle and even more of the fur fell out. Awful to work with (the white one at least) Definitely wouldn't make a good baby blanket with all the shedding. I ended up just throwing it away.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from thin, This fur lost a little I purchased some black fur in store and then ordered some pink off line. I was very disappointed to see that the pink was not the same quality as what I purchased in the store

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Swirl Fur!! Have been making blankets for family and friends with this quite a while.....easy to work with....I use it for the back of the blankets with Anti Pill or Velboa front and 4 oz batting for extra warmth.....everyone loves them !!! Just wish there were more colors !!!! Little expensive....but I try to watch for the sales . All the material I use is polyester and washes great with cold or warm (if not too warm)..and dry on warm or low.....love it !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal for infinity scarf I made winter infinity scarves out of this stuff last year and it was a big hit! The fur is super soft, with fun colors. For a five minute per scarf project, this was one of my most successful Christmas presents. As another reviewer mentioned, you will want to keep the vacuum handy when cutting. In fact, I vacuumed the cut edge immediately and that helped a lot. For a scarf: cut 10-15" width of fabric. Sew long edges right sides together. Pull one end half way up through the tube so fur is right sides together and edges are lined up. Sew around the tube leaving a 2" gap. Pull through the gap so the furry side is out and stitch the gap closed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from white fur not what I expected I have bought this last winter and when it went on sale this yr I bought some more but in white. What a dissappointment! The quality of fur has definately not the same as last yrs. I made beautiful throws last yr with this fabric on one side and the other side either satin or flannel. Tried making more this yr and you could see thru the backing fabric. The fur was not dense like the previous fur I have bought. Ended up needing to line it with a similar color just to make the fabric look less sparse. The fabric is really soft and pretty with the rosette or swirl design but I have a feeling it will not last or long nice as long due to the fact that the fur isnt very dense or plush. I have tons of white fur everywhere now (shedding) and I would have returned it had I not gotten it on sale with a discount.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much nicer in person... This photo does not do this fabric justice. You can't stop feeling it, so soft. It sews easily on machine even though I was worried it might be too stretchy it isn't at all. I paid full price so it was $$ but I love what I made out of it, a muff for warm hands!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grandma With a light pink blanket binding it makes the perfect (12" x 12") blanky for my granddaughter! I can make as many as she needs so that one can be in the washer and dryer while she has one. I can always replace any lost blankies; she recently lost one at Disney World. I'm going to buy enough to make 9 blankies (just one yard of fabric); that way, she should always have any extra.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from scarf I love this fabric! It is so soft. It was easy to sew with a machine and is very forgiving.
