Infuse a vintage feel into your stamped or stenciled designs using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pad. Made with water-reactive dye and pigment ink, it creates an oxidized effect when sprayed with water. You can blend it using ink blending tools and foam, sold separately. The pack contains one ink pad with acid-free, non-toxic ink.

Great product at a great store!
I've been doing some research on the prices of these ink pads and based on my findings, Joann.com has the best prices, not just on these inks pads but on lots of products! I ordered 13 of these ink pads online and received my items quickly and was satisfied how they were packaged!
My only complaint was one of the ink pads I bought was not as well inked as the others I bought so I was a little disappointed. But for the price I paid and the fast shipping, I'm a happy customer!

I LOVE Distress Oxide Ink Pads by Tim Holtz!
I used to use watercolor pens to shade my mixed media projects. But the results were less than perfect. These Distress Oxide ink pads work great! I get the shading I want plus the ink is movable with a finger or baby wipe so mistakes can be corrected, unlike other ink. You can also put on more or wipe it off. The best part is whatever stamping or pattern underneath is still visible! Love love love these ink pads!! Joann has the best prices too.

Great for backgrounds
I prefer that my backgrounds do not over power the focal point. These inks make a soft color that is perfect for backgrounds. Any color that is used is not harsh and is beautiful, while enhancing the whole card design. Easy to blend, too.

I bought several of these distress oxide inks to see if they were worth the hype. They are! I bought more from Joann when on sale, and now have a short list of other colors I want to try. I bought them to use for a specific project (rub several colors on silicone mat, spritz, and then drag cardstock through for awesome backgrounds), but they are so versatile they are now my go-to ink for general stamping.

Love Oxide inks
I already have a large collection of Distress Inks, so at first I thought I didn't need any of the Oxide inks. But I was wrong! I tried a couple of the newer colors and fell in love with it's creaminess and opaque colors. I have gone on to collect another 20 colors!

A “must have” for card makers
If you are a card maker, you MUST have these inks! You can do everything with them - ink blending, water color techniques and stamping. They are the best for ink blending - they go on smooth and blend easily - much more so than the original Distress inks. The only downside is the finish is a bit chalky, but I don’t find that to be a problem.

I really like the product. What I wasn't happy about is your site said free shipping if sent to store. Then I am told my store didn't qualify, also last week when I went to my store there were NO Tim Holtz inks, oxide or distress and you had a new brand of embossing folders which were really boring and hard to see.
