Ok for stamping
Bought 12 colors from all the good reviews on hold well these blend. They are just ok for me. Some pads are really dry while others are juicy. I use these mainly for adding color with a water brush.

Major Fun!
I really didn't plan to do it but I've become obsessed with both the Distress and the Distress Oxide inks. They're so versitile and such rich colors. I'm still discovering ways to use them. They're a hit in my studio.

beautiful "ancient" type colors
No "primary" colors, all real life colors, huge selection, you can spritz on water and colors blend, no need to emboss, perfect for today's more casual crafting.

Love this color distressed ink.
This color is so pretty. I am using it on a Christmas card for candy cane poinsettias. I used the goosebumps for a resist then added the distress ink. It came out marvelous.

This is the best ink pad possible. It can be applied in many ways water color application, a hint of color for background, and when care for properly will last almost forever.

Most versatility for your buck!
Been researching on line for a multiple use ink and i found these. If I want water color, i use these to color my picture, if i want a stamp pad, I also use these. the colors blend well together. very forgiving to a coloring and stamping novice like me. it really does not take a rocket science to "play" with it. they are reasonably priced. well worth the money and right within my budget. if you want to use other ink pads with it, it blends well with those, too. I love all the colors i have and planning to buy more to complete all the colors in the collection.

Awesome for Card Making or WaterColor!
I been using distress ink like two years ago, i can tell you this are the best of the best. You can paint with them or stamp. The best thing is they have a lot of different products: Stain, Spray Stain, Marker, paint and the minis. The minis are pretty cool too. btw the cute factor: You get four tiny squares that hold a lot of ink.

Great inks that can be used for a number of thing!
I have bought these inks for several years now, and most recently the newly released colors.
These inks are so versatile and can be used for a number of projects. They blend very well, and can be cleaned up very easily with water since they're a dye ink and are water-based. And because the inks are water-based, they're great to watercolor with!
I use these to make my projects look old and vintage looking, but they're also great to use for a more modern and trendy look to projects as well.

Great Product
I bought this product by mistake a few months ago and thought something was wrong with the ink since it looked worn and then I read the cover lol! I used it with sponges and oh my! Was it AMAZING! It not only gives off a perfectly aged look the ink really stretches! I've gone back to buy a handful more! They are great for card-making and scrapbooking! Happy inking!

Sparks so much creativity
I was brand new to stamping in general but was drawn to the TH Distress Inks simply because of the shades of color in one pad. I bought a mini pad first to try some ideas. They sparked so much creativity in me and I have been using them since on my greetings cards, tags, posters and so on. Use of soft sponge and circular motion in application works wonders.

Great Inks for Paper Projects
I have purchased several of these in multiple colors. They are very useful and fun to play with in numerous ways. I have used them to ink the edges of my photos and cut outs in order to enhance their appearances against the rest of the page. I've used them with the blending tool to give an aged look (especially with the brown colors). I've also used to apply color also with a mister and a brayer. I've even used them for stamping (although there are better ink pad choices for this purpose). I definitely think everyone who paper crafts can find some use for these ink pads.

Matching Pens and Pads
I have had a real difficult time finding all the pens to go with my inks. I wish Tim Holtz company would make it easier to know what colors are in each pen selection card. It would really help to have the colors listed on the cardboard...not just on the pens. I fund myself shaking the cardboard holder to try and see one of the colors on one of the pens. Only then can I tell if I have bought that set already.

Good inks
Obviously all TH products are good although I have had some bought in the store that were not as juicy. Joann takes over a year (or sometimes never) when it comes to carrying the latest colors. I have been searching for ripe persimmon for ever, no luck yet.

Works great with the correct technique!
Recently used this at my scrapbook club meeting, during a card-making lesson. Make sure you know what you're doing, or test on scrap paper first. This ink is for a "distressed" look, it will not give a crisp impession with stamps. I was told to buff it on with a circular motion, starting off the page. Worked beautifully to make a sunset scene on a card. Seems to be a "dry" ink, but that helps it do what it's supposed to, I guess.
I like it a lot and can't wait to start my collection!

Love these inks
I have the original 36 colors and have been waiting for you to carry the 12 new colors. A while back you had the reinkers for all 48 colors, but never the new pads. Could you PLEASE get the new colors of pads???
I love the way these work on the water-based techniques Tim teaches. They aren't made for stamping images but do a pretty good job on the right stamp.

Seasonal?
Love these and the price! Where are the seasonal colors though? You carry them in the stains, you should be able to get them in the pads too. Am I not looking in the right place?
