Not fusibleI don’t know who needs to hear this but this is not fusible grid! I was trying to figure out why my pieces weren’t attaching then I reread the description. Oops! It’ll be great for reproducing patterns in the future but if you want to stick pieces to it to sew more easily this ain’t for you lol

A necessary item to have in every sewing room.I keep Tru grid I keep it on hand in my sewing room. I use it for drawing out patterns. The grid helps when making alterations. The grid is also great for tracing off a measurement pattern of you to use to lay pattern pieces on for a fit guide.

Traces of greatnessGreat stuff for tracing and altering patterns. Sheer enough to see what lies beneath and strong so it won't tear like paper patterns do.

Grid is not accurate! The grid is NOT 1"×1". It is useless for drafting geometric pattern pieces.

true gridI have been using this product for years as a tool in adjusting patterns. I trace the pattern on to true grid and then make adjustments. Thus I save the pattern.

prob;emsI was disappointed in this product. I bought 15 yards which is listed as a bolt. The grid came without the cardboard form and was folded and wrinkled. I had wrongly assumed that the form would come with it. I also did not like the fact that the blue lines used for the grids were so light in color. The bolt that I bought in a JA store several years ago was a dark blue and much more easily used to trace patterns, etc.

So Helpful! This is wonderful for designing or altering your own patterns. You can write on it, too, using magic markers (protect your table with a newspaper underneath to capture bleed-through). It is easy to work with, whether with or against the grain. Very pleased!

Perfect for tracing patterns that will be used again and againI use this material to trace patterns that I will use again and again. Such as patterns for children's clothing that I make and give to the church to donate to the community crisis nursery.
I also trace patterns for myself which I plan to use more than once. Paper patterns don't hold up so well when being used/pinned again and again. This material is the perfect solution.

ntagaI guess I got a bad cut on this fabric (bought it by the yard in my local store). The squares on the grid are not accurate - OK on the first 24 inches, but then off by 1/2 inch by the time I got to the bottom of the Roman Shade pattern I was making. I checked the squares against 3 different quilting rulers and my Olfa cutting mat. I wasted $14.

sturdy for repeated useI have been using this product for several years. It will hold up under the stress of multi use. It is really wonderful when you need a different size of the same pattern and you can feel assured it isn't going to tear like paper patterns do with multiple use.
I recommend this to anyone getting tired of paper patterns that are fragile and tearing easlily. I make my pattern, copy the pattern envelope and store in zip loc bags in my pattern drawer. takes up less room also the pattern folds up small andyou take the air out of the bag and it lays flat.

Perfect for tracingAfter trying many different tracing papers, this is the only one I use. It's easy to see through and the grid lines help line up the pattern. It sticks to fabric so does not need to be pinned when cutting out.

Great for beginners!I recently got into to sewing with my mother teaching me. This product has been a Godsend! It is easy to trace patterns onto the grid so that you can get more use out of the pattern (like if you need a different size). Also, we've used it to determine what size I need by making the outfit with this material (using a stay-stitch) rather than use more expensive material.

An Essential for Pattern DraftersThis is one of the largest products that can be used to transfer patterns-which really helps with those larger pieces that can sometimes cause problems. It stores nicely on a bolt, and the grids insure that the pattern pieces can be transferred accurately. This is now the only product I use in my pattern making.
