Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as advertised I bought the original We R Memory Keepers cutting mat a couple of years ago and loved it. I thought I was ordering the Same exact one, but it is different and does not look like the one pictured. It’s a darker Teal color and feels like a different material. The magnetic element is not as strong as the original and the ruler feels like a lesser quality. I wish I had received the one pictured, but due to shipping delays, I didn’t want to go through the hassle of having to return it and wait for the replacement.

I do so much scrapbooking and card making that I'm surprised I haven't discovered it sooner. When I put paper on the board and place the magnetic ruler on top, it holds the paper snuggly to the board. I also like the size of the magnetic board and ruler. They are 16 x 20 inches (magnetic); 14 x 18 inches (cutting grid); 18 inches (magnetic ruler). One side has measuring grid and the other side is blank. you can cut and pierce on both sides.
