My wife/kids are constantly using the scissors and not putting them back where they go. With this two pack, I gave one set to my wife and the other one I hid where only I know where they are. These scissors are extremely sharp out of the package and are well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Scissors [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing right out of the box I ran my thumb across the blades to feel their sharpness and they definitely passed that test. Next was opening and closing them. They have a nice tight fit and make that satisfying sound as the blades cross each other. Then, I gave myself a haircut. These are not hair scissors but they worked fine. I have also tried them for beard trimming but don’t recommend that as the thickness of the back of the blades makes it hard to judge how close you’re trimming. After that I easily cut a thick paper magazine cover, cut curves with no jagged edges, all smooth. Cut through several magazine pages fine and also cut some soft plastic with no jagged edges. Finally I cut some corrugated cardboard and it did pretty good. Note because of the size of the cardboard I was cutting I didn’t have a smooth perfect line and so smaller pieces do better. Also the orange part of the finger holes are nice are a softer material which makes cutting more comfortable. Time will tell but as for now these are great scisssors.

Multipurpose ~ can handle jobs big or small and a variety of textures. A great “go to” pair that is reliable, sharp and sturdy time and time again!
