Great little pans
I used these pans for the first time and loved them!! After stacking them the cake was too tall for the lid to fit on my cake plate, but the cake looked awesome after icing it, I made matching cup cakes and put around the cake on the cake plate, this made a wonderful Birthday Cake!!

that's what I was thinking!
ok, so I haven't bought these but am thinking abt it. the thing that I question though is what the one review mentioned is how they are rounded in the edges. why aren't they a true square? I would think this would make the cake mounded instead of stacked looking.

Love the layers
I got this awhile back and I got a chance to use it for my coworker. He wanted a cake from me for the longest and finally made it for him using these pans. I absolutely loved it perfect layers and no need to cut them to level it out and he loved how it looked too

Never Disappointed in Wilson
Bought these back in October/November. These are great little pans! I had bought the Easy Layers rectangle pans that were on sale in store and I had really liked them. It made the perfect little layer cake, tho it was too tall to fit in my cake caddy (we just ended up snacking on one of the layers instead). Though I only can give them 4 stars, as the little handle is kind of awkward and hard to grab when using an oven mitt. I wish they had put 2 instead of 1, it might have made it easier to grab.

I got this expecting that the depth would be greater, but it is the tiniest width I have ever seen. It is also rounded on the ends which would greatly affect how the cake looks when you try to stack it. Im sure the product is good itself, but make sure it is exactly what you are looking for before buying.

Very Dissapointed!
I bought this pan set to make a rainbow cake but was VERY DISSAPOINTED when it arrived. It was WAY TOO SMALL, the diameter and thickness.
I read the size, but the picture didn't look that small but was SHOCKED it was SOOO small. I sent them back and bought 4 -9" pans to match my pans at home. Now that will be a NICE size cake!

Easy to use and fantastic presentation
I bought this pan set for my four year old daughters birthday. She loved the colors! I followed the directions and found on Wilton's website what color dyes to use for the layers. I rolled the cake in sprinkles and decorated with my little pony. Can't wait to use this again!!!

Great quality, makes really cute cakes
They are small, about 6 inches in diameter, and only about 3/4 or 7/8 inch deep. There's a handy extension on one side of each pan which helps put the pans into and out of the oven. I found that just about a cup of batter will fill the pan and make a nice layer. So far my layers have baked fairly level - probably because of the low volume in the pan lets the middle cook at almost the same rate as the sides. .
They are easy to wash (I wash by hand to protect the non-stick surface) and the cakes did not stick at all. I've made carrot cake, a coconut cake, and a pineapple cake. I found that one recipe (or box of cake mix) makes about 6 layers, or three layers and an 8" cake pan for a different use. Or a few cupcakes. Really, the possible combinations are unlimited.
To keep the 6 layers from toppling over, I filled the layers, stacked them, and before frosting the top, stuck a tall drink straw in the middle and cut if off flush with the top of the cake. The frosting went right over the top and was undetectable.
I haven't made the rainbow cake illustrated on the box yet, but will soon. I think I'll flavor the layers with unsweetened drink mix that matches the colors.
This is a great pan set - but know in advance, so you won't be disappointed, that the layers are small. I think for one or two people, you could easily just make a two or three layer cake and have 4-6 servings, then the cake is gone before you're tired of it. Freeze any extra layers for a treat later.
I've been looking at the small cast iron skillets for making big dessert cookies, but I think I'll try these pans for big cookies before I spend a fortune on iron skillets.
Highly recommended.

These are the cutest litt
These are the cutest little pans! I used them for the first time today with a strawberry cake mix. Each pan took about 3/4 cup of batter and I baked them for 17 minutes. Cakes came out perfect! Once cooled I wrapped the cakes in plastic wrap then in foil and they are in the freezer until I need them later in the month. Another favorite Wilton product!!!!

Great little pans! Be sure to level your cakes before stacking them, something I didn't do the first time, and had a difficult time icing the cake due to "overhangs" from too much batter in the pan. The second time I used them I measured 1 cup of batter into each pan and no "overhang"! Have fun! These are truly a fantastic set of pans.
