Add a professional finish to your buttercream-iced cakes! This set makes six different textures-- ridges; swirls; and waves--which makes creating fun designs a breeze. The hand grip is specifically molded for a secure grasp and it keeps your fingers from dragging into the cake sides. This package contains three texture combs. Each one measures 9x3 inches and they snap together for easy storage.

Success for 1st time user!
I am a rank beginner. This was only the 3rd cake I've ever decorated a cake and am pleased with the results. The texture comb was very easy to use. Be patient! The 1st time around looked messy, but as I continued to go around, the design became more distinct until finally it looked great. Be sure to have a thick layer of frosting because you'll be taking some off in the process. I did use a cake turner (you could also use a lazy susan), which made it much easier to get a nice, straight design.

Great results but takes time
It's cumbersome to use with the shape and contours of the handle in the middle of the comb. Makes for tough wiping after every pass, and cleaning also takes a longer second at the sink! However, it impressed even me with how forgiving and easy it was to get a flawless- looking design despite being a novice baker. Seem durable too. Recommend!
