Cookies! Cookies! Cookies!
Bored? Maybe.. but I was in search of the best Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe ever! I had chosen 3 different recipes and I wanted to control the variables, number one being the cookie sheet. I already had one of the Wilton Mega Cookie Sheets so I purchased two more. I prepared each recipe according to instructions, put each directly on a separate cookie sheet and baked (no parchment paper no silicone sheet). I was pleasantly surprised that each variety responded well to direct contact with the cookie sheet and that the baking was very even (no darkness on the bottom of the cookies or extreme lightness on the top) I have used other non-Wilton cookie sheets in the past and have found that some other brands were not as good at controlling the temperature even-ness of the sheet across the full surface. At this point in my life, I know that Wilton makes the best products for baking and I don't even own any baking pans other than Wilton.

I was looking for a bigger cookie sheet to hold more cookies for Christmas baking. This size fit the oven shelf well. Helped me to bake more cookies in less time! Wilton is a brand thats been around for a long time. I did still choose to use Parchment paper on the cookie sheet though.

This size of this pan just makes sense. With most recipes I find that I am cramming cookies onto 2 cookies sheets anyway. With this pan, I can fit the entire batch with adequate spacing. The cookies end up baking evenly no matter where they are on the pan. I love that I can fit the entire batch on one pan.
