Just right
It’s slightly stretchy and non-see through which was perfect for me. I was using it to cover hand sized holes in boxes so kids could later reach in and either touch candy or something “icky” for Halloween :-)

Yaya Han Cosplay Stretch Black Scuba Hexagon
We used this fabric to make a simple villain’s cape for my adult grandson. (Simplicity 9254) He wanted something that would move when he walked. This fabric did just that! Plus, it was really easy to sew. I top-stitched the seams down since the inside is a solid black. It made the seams almost not visible. Happy customers!

Great drape. Not a deep black.

Easy to work with and looks great.
I make a lot of Cara Dune commissions and this is my go to fabric. It stretches nice and is super easy to work with. It looks expensive but is reasonably priced with a coupon or when it's on sale. It's more of a medium weight knit which I really like. It gives the costume some weight, but isn't too bulky. It drapes nice as well. Overall, its a great fabric and I will continue using it.

I'm in love
I am in love! I bought this and a pleather. This fabric is so cool. I ended up not even using the pleather. The hex pattern stands out (not so much in pictures if the lights not on it). I am getting more! I'm excited to try the white. (Ps, it stretches both ways, but one direction is far more stretchy)

Great fabric!!! Not just for Cos-Play
I was working on this dress for a singer songwriter and I wanted to tie in Multi textures and fabrics. I I used Yaya Han Cosplay Scuba Hexagon for the puff on the sleeve and Yaya Han metallic netting the shoulders and part on the bodice. I love the results and so did she, very happy client !!

1st version great 2nd version not so much
I bought a few yards several months ago and I love the fabric, it's kinda high tech looking, perfect for cosplay. I went back to the store to get more and they were out. Happened upon it again in the store a month later and got super excited. Paused before I bought it because I thought it looked had a lot more shine than the stuff I bought. Checked the item number. Same item number. Brought it home and compared it to the first stuff I bought. Very different. Yes, it's a dark material with the same size hexagons but the shine level is very different! The first one looks like the picture, it comes across as kinda grey/kinda neoprene with a slight shine on the high points. The new version is more black/faux leather with a lot more shine. The new version isn't awful, it's just not as good as the last version and doesn't seem to be available in white anymore either.

It's stretchy which is perfect for active wear! I made an active-wear jacket with it, it gives it an extra edge.
