505 Spray & Fix Temporary Fabric Adhesive-11.7 oz. is rated 4.733333333333333 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Aerosol Adhesive I am now on my third can of this wonderful, repositionable adhesive. It is the best thing for layering a quilt 'sandwich', setting appliques in place, and even good for 'pinning' small pattern pieces that are too small to use regular pins on. Best of all, it doesn't gum up my needles and washes out easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great spray adhesive I use this most often when I quilt on my longarm. I spray it along the side edges to keep them from getting pulled up when I stitch near the edge. I really like that the fabric can be repositioned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from .+always good results= excellent results for all projects using 505 spray= (project requiring top layer cloth-inner layer of stiffing and batting- and backing cloth layer-- all layers adhere together- (no basting required) and works fantastic

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works if you put enough on your fabric I was a little hesitant to use on my grandson's quilt. After reading several reviews I decided to give it a try. After applying two times and was great, but very messy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good but expensive Easy to use--doesn't gum up the needles---but, too expensive for amount in can

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NO SMELL OR FUMES IM A LONG ARM QUILTER AND I ALWAYS HAVE THIS ON HAND FOR HOLDING DOWN NOT SO PERFECT SIDES ON CUSTOMER QUILTS. THERE IS NO AFTER FUMES, WASHES OUT WHEN LAUNDERED, NOW PINS TO CONTEND WITH WHILE STITCHING. THESE ARE IMPORTANT ISSUES BECAUSE IT'S A CUSTOMER QUILT AND IM NOT ABLE TO LAUNDER THEIR QUILT. BECAUSE IT HAS NO SMELL OR STIFFNESS TO IT, THEY ARE UNAWARE OF MY HAVING USED IT.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a charm I made a quilted wall hanging and used this spray to sandwich the top, batting and backing. It held well, but allowed for repositioning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 505 is the best for holding a quilting sandwich. I have used this product for a couple years and love it. I no longer baste or pin my quilts . I only use 505. It is easy to use, holds well and doesn't cause any issues with my sewing needles. The process of quilting with my sewing machine means I have to roll, fold, push and shove on that quilt during the process. 505 holds the sandwich together even with all that motion. The best part is no puckers when I'm done quilting. Love it, love it.
