How To Get It

Add a glass-like dimensional layer to paper crafts with the Aleene's Paper Glaze. Use it as is, or tint it with acrylic paint to accentuate design details. It does not run colors, and can be accented with a variety of embellishments, including microbeads, glitter and trims.     Rated 2 out of 5 by from Better products out there As other reviewers mentioned, you have to worry about bubbles and having too much of this glaze on a project at once. I was constantly fiddling with the tip due to clogs, even though I stored with a pin in it for short storage times (put cap on when I put it away for longer storage). Product eventually separated/got too many gloopy/clogging sections in it and I threw it out.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like this stuff! I used this to add depth to some beadwork and tiny photoframes. It seems to work best if you apply a thin, even layer. Work out any bubbles with a pinhead and when dry, add another coat. I think I got a bit crazy on my MonaLisa cabachon and I have it under a heatlamp right now trying to dry it out! I would recommend three thin, even layers at most. Watch those bubbles; when you first apply the glaze there are not that many and you can usually pop them, but I found if you try to mess with the project before the glaze is dry it will create a lot more bubbles that can be quite difficult to remove. This glaze did run my inkjet print some, but then I was impatient and did not let the ink dry as I should have before glazing.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun stuff! This stuff is great! I've mixed it with various pigments for use on plastic and used it over small stickers to add dimension! Don't use too much at once or it dimples when dry. Layer it!
