Coil-Less Curved Safety Pin Size 1 50 Ct is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for quilting & knitting These are 'special use' safety pins. They work beautifully as stitch markers for knitting, or to avoid pinching fabric in quilting. Not sure they'd work well as regular safety pins, but for these special uses, they're great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Insecure pins The idea sounds good, but the pins twist around the end without a loop. Whatever is pinned together could become an inch apart, when the pin twists the long way, with one layer near the head and the other near the loopless end. I tried them and that's how they worked for me.
