Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looking forward to starting The only thing I would like to see different is that the thread is not labeled, I had to go through and label it myself. I’ve done MANY of these where the thread is pre-labeled and that’s such a nice feature. Other than that, it’s very nice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful detailed stocking This was my first counted cross stitch project ever. I have done needlepoint and embroidery and watched some youtube videos before starting, and with that experience was able to complete this beautiful design successfully. I am on my seventh now, and this is one of my favorites. The detailing is wonderful, and the outlining at the end makes all the little animals come alive. It took several months to complete but the results are worth it. The aida was a little narrow and it was difficult to keep the fabric taut in the hoop while working near the edges but it worked out and there was plenty of thread to complete the project. I lined it with cotton and backed it with navy suede fabric and the finished project is beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Santa's Arrival I made this as a keepsake for my son. Was a little smaller than I had hoped after sewing it together, but it turned out beautifully. Colors are spectacular. As in the other review, my only complaint would be the use of the long back stitching in certain areas. I also do not like the felt provided for the back, I replaced it with a quilted material, but that was my preference and nothing to do with the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Disappointing, but nicer than most I love the design of this stocking. Much nicer than other kits I've seen. However, I had a few colors of floss that kept breaking. Also, I don't care for the lack of half cross stitches or the long outline stitches. I think this makes for a sloppy look. The majority of the design is fairly simple, but the snow takes FOREVER to complete. I would make it again, but with modifications to the method.
