Replaced button in the 1st try
Once I got it centered, a couple taps of the hammer and the button was secured in place. It took about 30 seconds! Two thumbs up!!!

Absolute garbage
These buttons are not even pot metal garbage. The instructions say to use a hammer to attach the buttons to the jeans, but the button metal is so flimsy that they bend easily when struck with the hammer, even when precautions are taken to avoid that outcome. They are difficult to remove once they are all bent out of shape as well. I had to cut the button apart with tin snips to remove it's mangled remains, and it left a messed-up hole in my project. I ended up using a vice to clamp the post to the next button attempt, because there was no other way to securely seat the post in the button. Once the button was attached, it didn't lie remotely flat, even for the type of button these were designed to be, because the post wouldn't push all the way into the button, even with the vice. I'm never using these again.

Easy fix
These are a lifesaver. When you have new jeans that the button came off of. Get these. Easy to insert no special tools needed.

Absolute Trash!
I bought these to put onto my boyfriends jeans for his suspenders in effort to save myself some time. What a mistake! Not only were they more expensive than buttons and took more time to affix, but they also bent or broke half the time. Out of a six count box I installed three with any degree of success... And those "successes" were still bent or not fully on the rivet back! I followed the directions and hammered gently, but these are just poor quality!

Terrible
After four attempts to replace a missing button on a client's pair of jeans, the package went back to the store. Every single one bent, no matter how carefully I tried to hammer them in. The metal used for the pin part of the button is too soft.

Suspenders from
Work well but buy extra
I bought these buttons so I can wear suspenders with my work pants (I work construction). Since installing them 2 weeks ago they have held up to the abuses of construction and all the strain they receive from the suspenders when I bend over etc. However, you need to buy extra because some of the pins break when installing. For the price you can't go wrong, but definitely buy more packets then you need so that you have extra when some of them break (when you hammer them together)
