I would highly recommend it to everyone who loves embroidery or hand sewing . I will be able to get more emboiodery accomplished without having to stop due to eye strain.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from magnilamp 072968 I don't have to bother with finding and electric outlet and then the cord because it is battery operated. I have dogs and kids that are around me constantly. I use it to make my jewelry at the kitchen table while my husband and kids watch tv or work on their projects. I wear trifocals and I use the 4x when I connect the clasps. This lamp can be carried in my bag and is very light weight. The light is too small. I need an overhead light or lamp close by for light. But I still like the light weight feature and I can move it with one hand wearever I need to. I rated overall at 3 because of the inadequate lamp. I would by it without the lamp for the other features. The quality is 5 for the product I am receiving and price is great.
