Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best interfacing available My business involves recycling used clothing & textiles into other items. I use this interfacing exclusively on all knit fabrics (mostly sweaters) with perfect results. I also use it to stabilize woven textiles then add a heavier interfacing when making purses & totes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this stuff! I use this to thicken and stabilize pillow cover backings (made with quilting weight cotton).  It fuses perfectly without giving any dimply/fused look to the fabric.  The fabric just really feels twice as thick once it's fused and still has lovely drape (thanks to the woven nature of this interfacing).  As I make quilted pillow tops, I also like the fact that, when you wash the pillow cover (that has this fused to the back), the back gets that nice crinkly look too (just like the quilted front), though of course a quick pass with a hot iron would smooth that out.  I love this stuff and I'm so happy Joann sells it by the bolt!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Favorite Interfacing This is my favorite interfacing to work with. It goes on quickly and easily, and gives a lot more stability to everything from quilting cottons to mediumweight linen. I'll never sew quilting cotton without it ever again- It adds enough bulk to make sewing easier, but not so much that you have to adjust your pressure. Perfect for small projects like zippered pouches and bags. I've also used it to make sewing slick fabrics easier for things like throw pillow covers. I bought an entire bolt on sale, and will continue buying it this way. It's also great for repurposing salvaged/rescued fabrics- I've made several projects using a beautifully worn soft cotton duck, and using this interfacing means I can use up pieces that aren't large enough to cut to be sewn on the grain. This eliminates enough of the bias stretch to make working with it much easier, so your scraps become more versatile. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because it is 20"- you'd get a lot more projects out of it if it were a standard bolt width. Otherwise it's a great product and something I'll never be without.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pellon sf101 I bought this because it was called for in a purse pattern. I like how it gives the fabric more body without changing the feel of the fabric too much. It gives them a more professional look, which is great because I am selling them on esty under wetriver to raise money for my daughters trip to Germany. It is normally pretty expensive for the pellon sf 101 but when it is on sale for half off or more, its a deal.
