Quilted Ironing Board Cover Fabric is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Iron Board Cover I ordered this product online to make 2-handed potholders for a craft fair that will be happening in the fall. I used it for the back side of the potholders with a layer of cotton batting. I used pretty cotton fabric on the top with an alternate cotton fabric on either end for the pockets. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it, love it, love it. This is the neatest cover for my oversized quilting ironing board. It is attractive, gets rid of the burn marks on the old cover and adds extra padding. Smart buy! I bought it using a sale coupon and free shipping. Highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was happy to find this fabric. It made it a breeze to make a custom cover for my ironing table. Because of the backing and quilted fabric, I didn't have to worry about putting a pad underneath. The surface is great to iron on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clarification The comments suggest that many are confused by the name of this product. "Ironing Board Cover Fabric" is the flat, plain, non-quilted silver material. THIS product is simply that "Ironing Board Cover Fabric", quilted. You're not supposed to use the quilted product for ironing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Will have to look at it in person... Every 5 to 10 years I get into a sewing mode and, about every other time it involves pot holders. Traditionally, go to my local JoAnn's brick and mortar store where I know which corner to start digging for my thermal blocking, "silver material". Often, the unquilted variety comes in a better (thicker and more expensive) version and a lesser version. In the past, I've only found better version in the pre-quilted yardage for which I've gladly paid extra for rather than quilt my own. If all that's available is the thinner stuff, I can understand some of the comments. If the thicker stuff is available, I can tell you that it works well as a potholder backing fabric and withstands multiple washings over the course of several years; I usually do at least some limited quilting of the pot holder top to the pre-quilted backing to reduce slippage and internal wearing when in use. ...still, it has been "a few" years since my last forage into the pot holder world. (Oh, pot holders are a great way to play quilt block making without having to worry about much cost, time, effort, or accuracy as long as you plan one that take a bit of trimming or an extra border; you can always anchor things that don't lay flat with some extra, in the ditch, quilting lines too.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Buffet Mat For get-togethers, we put a large piece of this on our buffet and another piece in the middle of the dining table then cover with tablecloths. It works great for us so we don't have to monkey with trivets and potholders!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Is this the cheap imitation? If this is the same product sold in the stores, don't bother with it. It looks cheap and is very thin compared to real ThermaFlec. Also, why do they call it ironing board fabric and then say you can't iron it?
