Do not buy
The kit I got comes with a mesh grid that is 32x32, whereas the pattern calls for a 36x36. So my daughter, who is trying to learn how to do this for the first time, can’t use the picture on the packaging or the printed pattern graph as a guide and I have to basically invent a pattern for her. Other reviews have different yarn colors...definitely a cheap kit from China that is stocked with whatever the factory happened to put out at the time. Not worth going into the store to return.

Wrong colors
Like the other reviewer, our kit came with colors that were different from the front. It had orange instead of yellow and then two shades of green instead of a blue and a green. As they said, the combination is not pleasant. Given Covid, we aren't going into the store to return it. I am disappointed that it won't be as cute as it is on the cover though.

Colors not as represented
Nice kit. I got this to work on while waiting for puzzles to come back in stock. I didn't mind that the red came as a pink, but rainbow colors including orange and forest green isn't pleasing.

Not enough yarn
I bought this kit for my granddaughter and she has been so proud of it that she shows her progress on her school zoom mtg every week. However the amount of yarn has been insufficient in every color except the pink for the hearts. We managed with the rainbow by cutting them a little short, but she is now finishing the background and cannot finish by a lot. She has been very careful and meticulous, has not wasted yarn or had knots to be cut out. For a young child on her first project this is extremely disappointing.

perfect for my 7-year-old
I bought this for my 7-year-old for her birthday. She LOVES it! She quietly sits there and works away at her design. The simplicity of the pattern and stitch is perfect for her as a beginner.

Good purchase
I bought this for my 5 yr old granddaughter who wanted to sew. It’s a little difficult for her but with guidance she’s doing a great job and is very proud of her work! Definitely would be better for a slightly older child but she loves it and that’s all that really matters!
