Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this can with some hesitation as there are no reviews. I had to paint a blue grey chair with a velveteen type of material to black. The black color spray paint changed the chair to a charcoal grey which turned out wonderfully. It does not look painted on at all. I wish I had pictures. My only recommedation would be to try it on a hidden area to see how the color takes. The chair was new and not faded or worn so that may have added to a positive outcome.
