My most used fabric
I have used Casa satin so many times over the past few years that it is a staple in my sewing room! I only use Casa Collection satin as I find other brands look too cheap. Usually I go for matte satin because I don't like my fabric too shiny, but this was okay in shine. Of course, I will buy it again

Inconsistent fabric weights
I purchased this fabric in white and light blue. The white was a significantly heavier weight than the blue but otherwise nice quality.

Perfect for my Purpose
I like how one side is glossy and the other is more matte. It worked extremely well in my project, using the give on the bias.

Perfect for the price
This satin is a great matte fabric with a nice drape and body.
With a knit interfacing it is wonderful for bodices and structured sewing. You can't beat it for the price.

The best satin I've sewn
This fabric is very easy to sew, with any type of machine needle. It only frays slightly, and looks quite elegant when it catches the light. I use it to make the trim on equine jousting costumes and parade costumes. It doesn't stretch, which means I don't have to pin. It looks just as nice after being washed.

Beautiful texture!
The material is easy to use, has a great thickness to it. The matte texture of the White has just the perfect amount of sheen to it to make it look elegant. It is perfect for dresses. I love this fabric, and will continue to use it.

Case Collection satin solids
I use this for many things. It is beautiful, easy to work with, holds up well and a great price. I have added a picture of a few blankets I made one of my grand-daughter's. They held up very well considering the little one and the use it gets. I love this fabric. I usually use snuggle flannel on one side, batting in the center...then satin on the back. Sometimes the kids want the coolness that the satin offers.

Nice fabric
I purchased this fabric to make a very nice tailored dress shirt in white. The fabric was very easy to work with and sew. I only reason I gave it four stars is the fabric does fare and can get messy.

Blue Radiance Casa Collection
I bought lots of this fabric, and I think the color is very pretty. I will be getting more of it soon. I've only been able to purchase this fabric at Joann.com. I've heard good reviews about the Joann Store in Cedar City, and they seem to mostly have what you need for sewing and crafts.

Great material
The fabric is great, very strong unlike many satin fabrics that flake out easily at the edges. My only complaint is that is not very shiny, doesn't have that satin shine, is kind of matte, but it is still beautiful and great quality

My favorite fabric!
I'm a cosplayer, and I love to design my own dresses based on different characters. Some of my own designs, and my other outfits, require nicer material than just a basic cotton, so my go-to for that is the Casa Collection! Not only is it beautiful and soft, but it doesn't shine horribly in photos with flash like costume satin will! It looks incredible, and I feel like a princess when wearing anything made out of it.
I wish there were more shades and colors in it, but there's already quite the variety as is, so I can't complain too much!

I love the casa collection
I have used this fabric to make multiple costumes including corsets, ball gowns, ruffles, dresses and skirts.(pictured below) It's got a nice thickness and smoothness to it and my favorite feature is it's not shiny like most cheap satins. It has a high quality elegant look. It takes polyester dye easily and is simple to sew. It does fray (every satin does) but not nearly as much as other brands I've used. It comes in an array of colors, but I wish there were more shades available (couldn't find it in a deep yellow, just a light yellow). The casa line also comes in different textures. The price with a coupon is unbeatable. A+ fabric.

bridal satin
Forever I purchased ivory bridal satin labeled "Bridal Inspirations". It was the perfect ivory but none of the stores have it anymore and you can't order it online. Joanns needs to go back to the one they used to have. Bridal sewing is a big business and you are putting me out.

Shorted on yardage
I bought the brook green and loved the color and fabric. I ordered around 30+ yards for a wedding and was going to cut it into 3-4 yard pieces for the bridesmaids and family. It came in lots different pieces. I was disappointed cause I ended up not being able to get my full usage out of the purchased yardage because I had small amounts left that I couldn't use.

Need more color selection
The fabric is amazing for costuming, however the color selection is abysmal. You are out of luck if you want any green or orange. JoAnns really needs to step up their game, I find my money going to competitors more and more often. Please stock more color variety!

Hard to sew and bad color
I bought this for my Halloween costume and it was terrible. I have a stylist singer and it tried to devour this fabric. The fabric I got was blue and it was shiny and just terrible.

Casa satin is so easy to work with and lacks the high-gloss "sheen" that makes other satin material look cheap. I also really like the dyed-to-match color options, which eliminates the annoyance of color matching if you want to layer it with lace or chiffon. The entire casa collection is my go-to for fancy dress cosplay costumes because the fabric wears well, is quite durable, looks polished, is all washable, and frequently goes on sale. Though I do agree with other reviews about the limited color variety, the quality makes for excellent value.
