Love My Mat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A FISKARS two-sided cutting mat is a must have for my crafting needs. This one is 18x24in and is self-healing. It’s perfect for my sewing uses as well as paper crafts. The guided grids are wonderful for easy measuring. The square guide in the middle of this mat helps with cutting perfect material squares for quilts. I love the colors which are high contrast. The printed numbers are two sizes. This helps with visibility. All these details make this mat ideal! There are also triangular guide lines. I’m just saying it…. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this mat!

Very Good Quality

Perfect addition to crafting

Wonderful craft mat!!

Perfect for quilting

The angles are easy to use for cutting squares and squaring up blocks. Functional fun!

The cutting lines help me keep my patterns, ribbons, fabric, etc., straight while cutting with either scissors or a rotary cutter. I really like that it is dual sided with one side a light gray with dark lines and the other side dark with white lines -- that really comes in handy when working with different colors. It also gives protection to my wooden table where I tend to do all this cutting and crafting. I use it as a protective mat while I work. Just perfect in my opinion. Oh, one thing, store it flat because I've found that if it's rolled for too long, it'll be almost impossible to get it completely flat again.

Paired with the Fiskars rotary cutter, it's the perfect combination. It's self healing so you don't have to worry about all the cuts in your mat. It's double sided for use on both sides. I could go on and on about this mat. Just do yourself a favor and run out and buy one. You won't be disappointed!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great mat. The perfect size when cutting through bolts of fabrics. Love the two sided feature, with both sided being heat sealing. Also love that the contrasting color on each side you you can decide based not eh color of your fabric which one works best. There is also a ruler around th edge which is a must have for ensuring straight lines. This is a no brainer for any crafter, a must have to make your life easier!

For short term/light use
This mat does not work for long term use. I use it with my Fiskars brand rotary cutter and since the first use, it began getting sliced and snagged. Now my fabric snags with every cut and I am continually moving to a different area of the board for cuts. I’m now looking at self healing mats.

Workhorse of a cutting mat!
Terrific item. Multi use, not just for rotary cutting. Great for measuring project pieces, flat, smooth surface for pinning, helps when cutting with regular shears as well. I store it sideways, against wall in my workroom. Very pleased with this purchase!

Buy With Your Rotary Cutter
This is a great protective surface with a rotary cutter. I am reluctant to ruin it by using it for other types of cutting or pinning. I'm afraid of punching it or damaging it in any way, but for rotary cutting is it an essential.
I think I might have preferred the foldable design just so it is easier to story, but I also like that there aren't any creases if you have long cuts.
