Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Cutting the Details I purchased a pair of embroidery scissors from a competitor (Fiskars) with a shorter blade, but they were never thin enough to cut details in fabric. Yes, the scissors are sharp, but it's the dimensions, i.e. the length of the blade to width, that creates that perfect notch. Currently, I'm using this pair to cut out face masks with a curved and clipped dart.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted for a month I’ve always wanted ginger scissors and finally purchased this. After about of a month of just cutting threads, it became dull and is useless. It will only cut if I pull on the thread and keep it taught. Maybe I got a lemon so I actually purchased a 2nd one. Same thing to the 2nd pair. I am back to my orange scissor which is still working great after over a year.
