How To Get It
Transfer designs directly onto fabrics using the Dritz Sew 101 Marking Pencils - Light Blue & White. These water-soluble pencils have distinct colors that are easily visible on a variety of fabrics. They are designed with a specially formulated lead that delivers clear markings. You can erase the markings by using a damp cloth. This pack includes two pencils that are great for quilting, sewing or crafting projects.

Don’t buy
Hardly a mark is seen when using these pencils. I used white on dark fabric and couldn’t even get the mark to show. Don’t waste your money.

Low marks
This product is no good. To get any marking you have to press very hard and risk tearing the fabric. I felt I'd be better off using sidewalk chalk. That would have been cheaper too.

Not what I expected
These marking pencils work well until the point wears down. No matter what I do I can't sharpen these pencils. The point breaks before I can use them. I'll never buy these again. A waste of money.

This works on a tightly woven fabric, but it is more difficult to use on a loosely woven fabric or a thin fabric. The fabric just moves around if it isn't tightly woven.

Terrible!!
These are terrible!! You have to press real hard to see a line and that’s hard to do on knits because the pencil drags the fabric with it!! Regret this purchase.

One of my fabric-marking essentials
These are very often life-savers! There are some fabrics they won't work on, such as sheers, so I also have chalk and disappearing ink pens, but when the pencils work I prefer to use them instead. Highly recommend!
