Standard Delivery:
For standard delivery, you can usually expect delivery within 6-10 business days from your order date (business days are Monday-Friday, excluding Holidays). You’ll receive an email with tracking information when your order is shipped. Please allow up to 5 business days to receive your tracking information. Some items sent directly from our suppliers may take longer, and will ship separate from the remainder of your order. The shipping charge includes labor and material costs, packaging and processing fees, and it may exceed the actual cost paid by JOANN to its carrier to send the item(s) to you. Sales tax may be assessed on the shipping charge in certain states, where applicable.

Standard Shipping:
Enjoy free shipping on orders of $75 or more when you select standard shipping in checkout. Orders delivered within the 48 contiguous United States should arrive in 6 – 10 business days depending on delivery location. Orders delivered to Alaska or Hawaii should arrive in 14 – 21 business days. These delivery estimates include order processing time. Orders shipping direct from the supplier may take an additional 1-3 days for delivery.

 

Express Shipping:
Express delivery is only available to our customers who ship orders in the 48 contiguous United States. Express delivery orders will be processed on the same day if they are placed by 11:00am ET on a business day, and should arrive in 3 business days. Orders placed after 11:00am ET will be processed on the following business day, and should arrive in 4 business days. Not all items are eligible for Express delivery.

 

Express Plus Shipping:
Express Plus delivery is only available to our customers who ship orders in the 48 contiguous United States. Express Plus delivery orders will be processed on the same day if they are placed by 11:00am ET on a business day, and should arrive in 2 business days. Orders placed after 11:00am ET will be processed on the following business day, and should arrive in 3 business days. Not all items are eligible for Express delivery.



Express and Express Plus shipping is not available for PO Boxes.

 

Oversized Shipping Fee:

An additional fee of $10 will be applied for items that are oversized. To see if an item is oversized, click on the Shipping & Returns tab on all product detail pages to view if that item is flagged as an oversized item and requires the additional charge. Additional messaging will also be included in your shopping cart to specify which items are oversized.

Product Availability:
Orders are accepted with the understanding that stock is available. In some cases, limited availability may prevent us from shipping the quantity you requested, but we will do our best to fulfill your complete order. If your order contains an item that is cut by the yard (ex. Fabric), please know that we will make every attempt to provide one cut of fabric, but we may need to fill your order in multiple cuts. You will receive an email if the status changes on any of the product within your order. Please allow up to 5 business days (Mon-Fri) to receive any status changes.

 

International Shipping:
Through our partnership with eShopWorld, JOANN offers shipping to Canada. If you would like to ship to Canada, select Canada from the shipping country selector at the top right of the site (on desktop) or by tapping on the three horizontal lines at the top left (on mobile) and then tapping the flag icon. When you place a Canadian order, your transaction will be with eShopWorld. Please refer to our International Shipping page for more details.

joann.com® uses a variety of carriers and methods to ship your order as efficiently as possible.

  • Standard shipping for orders with delivery addresses in the United States are sent via USPS Ground Advantage, Fedex Ground, Fedex Ground Economy and Fedex Home Delivery.
  • Gift cards and home décor swatches are sent via U.S. Postal Service.
When estimating your order's arrival date, please do not include weekends and holidays.
Only orders shipping from our warehouse can ship to P.O. boxes and will be delivered within the United States by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Bulk orders or orders shipping directly from our manufacturers cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

We do not currently ship to Guam, we do ship to the other US territories including Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Shipping does take a little longer so please expect 14-21 business days for your order to arrive. At this time, National Tree and Studio Designs furniture cannot be shipped to these territories.
Yes, Joann.com® orders do ship to military bases. Please keep in mind that delivery to military addresses may take longer, so please expect 21-30 business days for your order to arrive. However, Singer sewing machines and Studio Designs furniture cannot be shipped to military bases overseas.

We are unable to ship JOANN+ orders to military bases at this time.
Yes, standard shipping only.
Not at this time. To ship items to different addresses, please enter separate orders for each address.
At this time joann.com® or JOANN+ do not accept backorders. If an item is out of stock at the time of fulfillment we will ship the balance of your order and adjust your order total including shipping. In some cases, when your item is shipping directly from the manufacturer, we may notify you of a delay and hold your order until the manufacturer can ship it.
While we do our best to fulfill all of our orders, occasionally we have to cancel an item on an order due to availability. You will receive a separate email letting you know about this cancellation and your credit card will not be charged. When originally placing the order, we placed an authorization on your credit card or PayPal account which allows joann.com to make sure the account is valid and has the necessary funds available to process your order. An authorization is a pending charge or hold on a payment account and is not a true charge. Your payment method will not be charged if we did not ship your order. The release of an authorization may also appear as a refund on a credit card statement, or the authorization may be deleted from the account entirely. The void may take 7 business days (or longer, depending on your bank) to appear.
We may ship your order to you in multiple boxes or via multiple carriers due to:

  • The order size — large orders often are split into multiple boxes for more efficient delivery.

  • The item's size — some items required special handling and packaging and thus a separate box.

  • The item's source — some items will come to you directly from our supplier.

The following costs are included in the shipping charge, so the shipping charge may exceed the actual cost paid by JOANN to its carrier to send the item(s) to you:

  • Labor costs to select the item(s), cut fabric, and package the item(s) for shipment;

  • Cost of packaging and other supplies;

  • Internal (overhead) cost to process the order and maintain the technology and systems that support the website;

Depending on which state you live in, a sales tax may be assessed on the shipping charge.
