Great for controlling duck feathers from poking through.
I bought this ticking for duck feather pillows. The current pillows had a very thin case that the feathers were in causing the feathers to work their way out. With this ticking fabric the problem is solved!

Soft hand

Cotton Ticking Embroidered Sampler
I purchased this ticking for an embroidered sampler. This rows of embroidery will be on the white lines of the fabric. The cut edges do fray but serging the edges eliminate that issue. The fabric is soft and easily stitched.

I was very happy to find you had it available in store. I did have trouble finding it, and asked an employee who didn't know what I was talking about. She asked someone who did. I am a garment sewer. I like that you carry more than just quilting cotton, and polar fleece.
I bought the Ticking to make my husband another bed pillow. He is very picky, he's worn his out.

Great for traditional muzzleloader patches! You can use a drive punch for round ones, cut them in squares, or cut them into strips, and use a patch knife!

Don’t use this Ticking fabric
It’s really awful for making down pillows. The pillow ticking was even worse. Fabric to make down pillows should be soft and have a high thread count.

Pillow ticking material worthless
This is the worst material I have ever purchased. This material does not hold the feathers inside the ticking. I use a pillow protector and a pillow case over this and the feathers still come out. I should have kept my old stained pillow. Again I would not suggest buying this material!
