waste of time
I knew when I got this out of the package that it seemed cheap and not as sturdy as other upholstery zippers, but I stupidly installed it anyway. Broke the first time I used it. Now I have wasted a huge amount of time and will need to redo an entire cushion cover.

Flimsy Zipper
I spent hours on a cushion only to have this cheap zipper pop off when pulling it up! Huge waste of time using it.

NOT Heavy Duty enough for upholstery
Do not waste your time trying to use this zipper. It is not heavy duty enough for upholstery. I finished my box cushion put the foam inside and the zipper broke the second time I zipped it. Lost so much time having to rip apart the cushion to remove zipper. Just order the heavy duty one on line the first time and save yourself a lot of time and work.

Good value!
Used these brass zippers for custom oversized bean bag chairs, and they have held up incredibly well so far. They’re lighter weight than I expected: I initially ordered heftier ykk zippers only to realize the silk dupioni I used would have been stressed and sagged with the weight of the zippers- these worked great for the job!

The worst zipper ever
I made a seat cushion for my customers, and purchased this in the store I was told by the sales lady that this was the correct zipper. I was so disappointed when I filled it with the foam and tried to zip it and the zipper immediately popped off the coils! I had to take it apart and replace it with a plastic zipper and not a brass one.
Please don’t buy this zipper it will be a waste of time, it’s not very sturdy.

Terrible and cheap
Used two of these for cushion covers and after laundrying them twice both split. Not worth the headache of having to replace. I would recommend buying something a little bit more expensive and get better quality.
