Elastic cord for masks
I'm using this for elastic on masks and my friends love it, saying it's more comfortable than the thicker elastic. I use a double strand on each side of the mask.

Not the best choice for masks
The photo online is out of date. I've posted a photo of newer packaging which specifies this is 1mm cord. If you are unable to buy something thicker, this might be okay short-term for masks. It's so thin that it feels like it's uncomfortably cutting into the ear. For this reason, I am only using it for elastic that goes around the head. If you need elastic for around the ear masks, buy something thicker. I do like the variety of colors to coordinate better with various patterns.

Not just for jewelry
I actually use this cord to adjust items of clothing that are too loose on sleeves, neck, etc, by running the thread through the seam and pull it tight to the point I want to make a seam narrower. The beauty is that it comes in so many colors that regular elastic cord does not.
