Sturdy and silicone is heat resistant
The tongs feel sturdy. We like the silicone tips because they stand up to the heat of the pan. They have a nice grip both on the handles and when pulling the end locking mechanism.

Very useful.
I like the silicone parts of the tongs. I found that they slip off though, and wasn't sure of how well they dry out after washing since the slot is so slim. Good quality metal. For the clearance price it was a good buy.

Really nice tongs
I'm very happy with these tongs. They appear to be of good quality. I have several other pairs of tongs that don't last very well. The lock is flimsy and they don't want to stay closed when not in use. The tongs themselves don't feel as strong as these. I think I need to pick up another pair.
