Very Cheap product
I used this on a total of 10 stitches when it slipped out of my hand and hit my chair, causing it to break. It is a cheap tool. The metal portion extends just over 3/16ths of an inch into the plastic portion.

Won't do the job
The handle is comfortable, but the seam ripper just does not work. It has no sharp edge where you need. A waste of money. Now I have to find the old, tiny one that still works much better than this one. Can't believe it's a Singer.

Too large for small stitches
I have two old seam rippers so I was hoping to replace them with a pointier, sharper one. Well, this is not it. It's actually bigger than the others and I won't even use it. The listing description was vague so I gambled and lost.

Waste of money.
I found it very difficult to use. The cutting edge doesn't seem to be in the right place. I struggled for about fifteen minutes trying to rip out a seam. Finally gave up and used the old small one I had.
