Great for small hands, but that is all
I purchased this set for my 7 year old daughter. She has been using them a lot, and I have picked them up ever now and then as well. They are just the right size for her small hands. Luckily we got a set that happened to be a good one. The tips come together nicely (I recently was not able to find a set of tweezers, and was able to use one of the tools to plug a couple eyebrow hairs! How about that! )

I bought these thinking they would be a good starter set, but am very disappointing. The wire cutters are good for nothing, not even cutting really thin wire.

You get what you pay for!
This size is good but the quality is lacking. Points don't come together and spring bar in handle blocks them from functioning well.

Good idea, but too short for prolonged use.
The price on this set is great, obviously-- but they mean "mini" when they say it. The grips of the tools come to end in the middle of your palm (the tools are about 3" from tip to handle bottom), meaning if you use these for a proloned period your hand gets sore in that spot as the handle leverages against your palm. I wish I'd bought the larger set (and will), because I like to use them for more than a few minutes at a time.
